With the heat, the sea is always calling...
My Summer 26 art collection brings together impressionistic oil paintings from places I've painted around the UK over the past year – from quiet stretches of coastline to beaches full of movement, changing weather and summer light. All painted en plein air, directly in front of the landscape, the palette moves with the sea: from calm blues and soft horizons to flashes of primary red and yellow, thick paint and expressive marks. Each painting is my attempt to hold onto a fleeting moment before the light, weather and water change again. The collection includes framed and unframed original paintings, alongside a special limited edition print raising funds for Dunwich Heath.
I hope you find something that brings a little of the sea home.
A print for Dunwich Heath
Dunwich is a particularly special part of the Suffolk coast for me, and somewhere I've returned to paint many times.
Following the devastating wildfire at Dunwich Heath in July 2026, I've chosen one work from this collection to be released as a limited edition fine art print.
100% of proceeds from this print will be donated to the National Trust's Dunwich Heath appeal, helping the landscape and wildlife recover following the fire.
This is the view, from the beach, where the print was painted, from the 29th July. A sad sight. Read more about the fire.
