Capturing the feel of a place.

As a contemporary landscape painter, I use colour and movement to create the feeling of a place on canvas.

I paint outdoors (en plein air), and in my studio, layering time, light, memory and texture into paintings that capture the atmosphere of the place. I call this approach Multi-Impressionism.

Commissions

I take on a limited number of private commissions each year, creating paintings inspired by landscapes with a personal connection. This might be a family home, favourite view, garden, honeymoon location, or somewhere you simply don't want to forget.

Painting live and collaborations

I paint live at selected events, celebrations and collaborations, creating an original artwork in response to a place and moment as it unfolds. From gardens and landscapes to cultural events and brand collaborations, please do get in touch to discuss your opportunity or idea.

Bristol Plein Air Painters

I founded Bristol Plein Air Painters in 2025 to bring artists together to paint outdoors across the city. What started as a monthly paint-out has grown into a community of 100 artists, exhibitions and shared experiences built around one very simple thing: going outside and making work together.
