100 Stories of Cancer
A book that brings together a hundred personal stories of people who have been affected by cancer. The book aims to promote open discussion and to normalise the cancer conversation. Through Kickstarter, Helena crowdfunded £9,410 to print the first run of 500 books. 100 Stories is now growing as a community through social media and the new 100+ Podcast.
‘This revelatory, moving and ingeniously structured book will make readers think and become readier to talk about cancer, a subject that is, for many, still wrapped in silence. It is a book for anyone whose life has been affected by the disease directly or indirectly – a book, in other words, for everyone.’
- Kate Kellaway, The Observer Critic
